We travel far & wide, both locally and internationally and we never forget how fantastic our back yard is....The deck house is such a special place & we are so glad we got to spend a few nights here to celebrate my birthday and to enjoy an unofficial "babymoon".....Thanks for having us Peter + Corinne and for creating a little piece of heaven in Wye River

I think I have died and gone to heaven. Shooting stars, perfect rainbow which seemed to present itself as close to the deck house as possible for a private viewing. Made friends with the gorgeous birds, who were very greedy, but lovely. Waking up at sunrise and thinking there is nothing else that matters. Loved the homemade bread & cool rotating chairs & the window seat day bed. I compliment Peter & Corinne on their outstanding vision and their remarkable trust on the way they run their haven 'the deck house'. I am in love with it and will be back.

Too many years have been spent holidaying in Lorne when we could have been enjoying the charms of Wye River. It's a hidden gem! We have enjoyed every minute of the days spent here and could not tear ourselves away from the views to go sight seeing. The view is spectacular and the flora and fauna amazing. We met all the locals - Blinky Bill (koala) Echidna, King Parrots, Lorikeets and birds I don't recognise. Kangaroos just on the rise outside the door. Are they all on the payroll? This place is heaven on earth The weather was perfect too. Thank you Peter + Corinne, you have created the most perfect idyllic spot, one we envy greatly, you are wonderful host. Superb.
